Client Training Manager

We’re doing this through a combination of cloud-based software and consultative customer support that empowers arts organizations to grow revenue, increase efficiency, and build stronger relationships with audiences. We are always looking for new ways to approach problems, share knowledge, and better serve our customers. You’d be joining a team of over 120, based across our New York, London and Manchester offices and working with over 500 arts organizations in North America and the UK.

The role

Spektrix works in partnership with our clients to build their success. As Client Training Manager you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our global training offer together with a counterpart in our North American team to ensure our clients’ teams are confident using the system and are inspired by best practice. This includes designing and facilitating group training, delivering bespoke training for individual clients, as well as onboarding for new Spektrix team members. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to help ensure that our users get the right training, in the right format, at the right time and that we are continually improving and building the learning opportunities for our clients. 

 Your main responsibilities will include 

  • Designing and facilitating a first class training offer to the Global Spektrix community (in person and remotely) together with counterparts in our North American team. 

  • Creation and maintenance of training resources and opportunities (including videos, online learning platform content)  that both upskill our users and inspire best practice

  • Identifying opportunities to evaluate and maximise the learning opportunities for our clients 

  • Mentoring and coaching team members across all aspects of our training offer

  • Delivering training sessions to clients and internal new starters

  • Responsive to urgent training needs in order to prioritise a first class experience for our clients. 

You should have

  • Experience in delivering and designing teaching/learning/training sessions 

  • Experience in resource development for learning environments 

  • An ability to evaluate in order to continuously improve our training offer

  • Experience in online learning tools and platforms 

  • Excellent communication skills which can be displayed in person, over the phone and in writing.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills 

  • Time management and prioritisation skills to set you up for working to tight deadlines.

  • An interest in using technology to solve problems and maximise opportunities.

  • A willingness to contribute to the overall development of the company, taking on responsibility or additional duties that may fall outside the general duties listed above.

Other requirements

  • Occasional travel between London and Manchester (our two UK offices). 

  • Occasional travel throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland if required.

  • Core hours would usually be 10am-6pm or 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday. This is a full time role (40 hours a week) but we are accepting applications from candidates who are interested in job sharing the role, or would like flexible working arrangements. COVID-19 Remote Working Policy

Our UK offices are currently closed to protect the safety of our team during the COVID-19 pandemic. When it’s safe to do so, we will reopen our offices and adopt a hybrid work model. In the meantime this means we’re looking for people who are able to effectively work from home for the time being. We’ll provide reasonable support and all the hardware you need to get started.
